Police seek tips in hit-and-run that killed 47-year-old Kelvin Brown

KANSAS CITY, Missouri - Investigators identified the man killed Friday night by a hit-and-run driver as they issued a renewed call for tips in finding a suspect.
Police say 47-year-old Kelvin R. Brown, of Kansas City, was walking eastbound near the northwest corner of The Paseo and 44th Street when he was struck and killed by someone driving a dark-colored pickup truck.

Authorities say the truck was headed southbound on Paseo and was driving in the curb lane.
The unidentified driver was last seen leaving the scene, still heading south.
The truck is believed to be a dark colored 90s model Chevrolet Silverado pickup with damage to the front passenger side headlight. It may possibly have a broken windshield.
