KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- One man was shot to death Thursday afternoon on East 73rd Street off College Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri, police said.
Around 1:20 p.m., officers responded to a home in the 3300 block of East 73rd Street, where they found a man outside a residence suffering from gunshot wounds.
The man was taken to an area hospital by EMS, where he was declared dead.
Police identified the man as 40-year-old Steven Shannon.
