Paperless tickets will soon be issued by KC police

KANSAS CITY, Missouri - It may not be a chief complaint, but Kansas City Police Chief
James Corwin says paperless tickets will be coming soon to the
city’s law breakers.
Corwin said in a
blog post that he hopes officers will be issuing electronic
tickets from hand-held devices by September of this year.
Officers will use computers with small printers in their cars
– motorcycle and other mobile officers can use a hand-held
version – to enter in information about the offender. The
machines would then print off a receipt ticket for the
