Police: Three people injured in shooting on KCATA bus

Police have four people in custody

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Police said two people are in custody following a shooting on a Kansas City bus that left three people injured.

Authorities said the shooting happened on a KCATA bus - route 71 - near 31st and Prospect.

KCATA tells 41 Action News that one of the victims was shot in the hand. The other two victims were injured by flying glass. All are expected to survive.

Police said the incident started as a fight on the bus between the shooting victim and four other people. The four suspects got off the bus and one of them reportedly shot at the victim.

All four -- two adults and two juveniles -- are in jail.
