Police identify victim in fatal Independence Day shooting in Kansas City, Kan.

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Police have identified the man who was fatally shot in Kansas City, Kan., on Independence Day.

It happened in the 4100 block of Waverly Avenue around 10 p.m.

Authorities were called to the area on a reported shooting. When they arrived, they found Antwan D. Frazier, 34, dead in the yard from an apparent gunshot wound.

They are investigating the death as a homicide. Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS Hotline, 816-474-TIPS.
