Police are investigating after a deadly shooting in Kansas City, Missouri Tuesday night.
At 6:15 p.m., police were called to the area of 39th Street and 71 Highway for the sound of gunshots.
When officers arrived they found a male shooting victim in a pickup parked on the side of the road. He was later identified as Julius Harris, 36.
Police believe a rolling gun battle took place.
A portion of 71 Highway was closed for several hours for the investigation. It re-opened close to 10 p.m. Tuesday.
There is no suspect description at this time.
