Police investigating homicide on Lexington Ave.

Police say the victim of an apparent gunshot wound died at the scene.

Kansas City police are investigating a homicide on Lexington Avenue.

Authorities said officers found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound on the 3500 block of Lexington Avenue at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The victim died at the scene. He was later identified as Dustin Harris, 34.
