KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Two people were rushed an area hospital Monday night after being shot in northeast Kansas City.
Police were called out at about 6:55 p.m. on a reported shooting near the intersection of St. John and Oakley. When they arrived, they located two people suffering from gunshot wounds. Initial reports indicated one victim was shot in the mouth. The second victim was shot in the stomach.
Their injuries were described as non life-threatening.
Authorities were looking for two males last seen leaving the scene southbound in a white Ford Taurus.
