Robbers in wigs steal money Kansas City bank

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Robbers in wigs grabbed money Thursday afternoon from a south Kansas City bank.

The two men walked into the Valley View Bank at 3400 Red Bridge Road about 1:20 p.m. At least one of the men demanded money and showed the teller a gun, according to an FBI press release.

The men drove off in a black 1990's four-door Ford Taurus. They were last seen going east on Red Bridge Road, according to the news release.

The first suspect wore what appeared to be a wig, lavender skinny jeans, calf length boots and rubber gloves. The second man wore a long black wig, black jeans, a red plaid shirt, visor and rubber gloves.

Both men were over six feet tall and slender.
