Search for Savannah, Mo., man wanted on child molestation charges

SAVANNAH, Mo. - The Andrew County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man wanted for multiple felony molestation counts who skipped his court appearance.

Back in July 2013, James Michael Swett of Savannah, Mo., was charged with eight felonies relating to sexual abuse of a child, but was released after posting $100,000 bail.

On June 11, his original charges with dismissed as new charges were filed against him. The next day, a warrant was issued for his arrest. Police have not been able to find him and believe he has left the area.
