36 arrested for DUI during KCPD checkpoint

Several arrests were made during a Kansas City Police Department sobriety checkpoint held on St. Patrick's Day.

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office and Missouri Highway Patrol assisted in the checkpoint, which was held from 10 p.m. Thursday to 4 a.m. on Friday.

Nearly 750 vehicles were stopped at 39th Terrace and Southwest Trafficway during the checkpoint.

According to police, 36 DUI arrests were made.  

DUI arrests were not the only ones made during the checkpoint.

  • No insurance - 3
