OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - Four people were arrested for car break-ins in two separate incidents around Overland Park Tuesday morning.
The first arrests happened on the south side of the city, near 153rd and Robinson. An 18-year-old Overland Park man and two juveniles were taken into custody after break-ins were reported in the area.
This is the same area where dozens of other break-ins have occurred.
The second incident occurred around 3 a.m. Tuesday when a resident at the Brownstone Apartment complex, near 61st and Foster streets, saw a man breaking into cars.
Police responded and arrested an 18-year-old Wichita man. They continued to search for a second possible suspect.
At least five cars had been hit. Police said all of the cars were unlocked and none were damaged.
Police have not said if they think any of the cases are related.
