KANSAS CITY Mo. - Kansas City police are looking for the thieves who broke into several cars at a Plaza condominium.
Police said 15 cars inside the gated Bella Condominium Community, off 46th and Jarboe streets, were hit early Monday morning.
The property manager said he believes someone pried open the gate that leads into the parking lot, then used a crowbar to smash car windows sometime between 2 and 6 a.m.
The thieves also took the tires off some cars.

Many car owners had electronics and cash inside their cars, but none of those items were stolen.
Residents said no one inside the complex heard any car alarms. Instead, they made the upsetting discovery when they woke up Monday morning.
The condo does have security cameras and motion sensor lights, but residents said they don't work.
Police officers spent several hours Monday morning dusting for prints. They're also working to find out if these break-ins are connected to others that happened between Friday night and Saturday morning in the area.
