Three suspects were caught after a jewelry store burglary and police chase in Kansas City's northland early Saturday morning.

Police were called to the Zales store in Zona Rosa on NW 86th Terrace just after 2 a.m. Saturday.

Officers discovered a gray vehicle was connected to the case. They later found it heading southbound on Interstate 29. Shortly after, a police chase began.

The suspects fled at speeds estimated at 100 mph and merged on Interstate 635, with officers in pursuit.

Police lost the vehicle on 9 Highway in Parkville, Mo., but later located it near 4th Street, where three suspects fled.

One male was quickly caught. Officers searched the nearby Park University campus for the other two.

A short time later, one male and one female were taken into custody, bringing the total number in custody to three.

A bag of jewelry was reportedly later recovered in the suspects' vehicle.

No injuries were reported in the burglary. Charges have not yet been filed.
