Two suspects sought in Plaza jewelry store robbery

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City, Mo., police are searching for two suspects in the robbery of a Plaza jewelry store.

Authorities said Vinca Jewelry on the Plaza was robbed around 3:30 p.m. Sunday. The crooks made off with $300,000 worth of jewelry.

Police are looking for two black male suspects armed with hammers. The two were last seen driving west from 48th Street in a maroon Dodge Neon with the passenger window smashed out.

Vinca was robbed of $1 million worth of merchandise three years ago by crooks who cut through the wall into the store's vault. The case has still not been solved.
