Vehicle stolen with child inside, later found safe in KCMO

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City police say a car was stolen with a three-year-old boy inside Friday evening but the child was quickly recovered. 

KCPD said that a gray Honda was stolen from a gas station at about 9 p.m. Friday near 59th and Swope.

The child was inside the car at the time but a police officer later found the child on the 3600 block of East 60th Street. The boy was not injured.

Police have not recovered the car.

Police believe the man shown in the video below is the one who stole the vehicle.

 

 

 

The suspect is described as male, six-foot-tall and has long dreadlocks. He was reportedly wearing a blue polo-style shirt at the time of the theft.
