KANSAS CITY, Mo. - One woman is dead and another woman is in jail after a deadly stabbing Wednesday night in Kansas City.
Officers were sent to house about 7 p.m. on the report of a disturbance, according to a police department public information officer.
The officers found a gravely wounded woman about 30 years-old in the front yard.
She was taken to hospital and died about three hours later.
Police arrested a woman at the scene.
The incident happened at the suspect's house.
The victim and suspect knew one another.
The victim's name has not been released.
