100+ special needs teens compete in 'Job Olympics'

UNITY VILLAGE, Mo. - Tasks like folding napkins, shredding paper and interviewing for a job turned into Olympic events Friday morning.

More than 100 special needs teens from the Belton, Blue Springs and Lee's Summit school districts competed in the "Job Olympics" at Unity Village.

They completed basic workplace tasks and were judged by employers like Culver's, Hy-Vee and Mr. Goodcents.
