KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A Missouri lawmaker is filing a bill in Jefferson City that would give Kansas City Public Schools provisional accreditation.
State Senator Paul LeVota hopes the bill will prevent KCPS students from transferring out of the district.

KCPS lost its accreditation in 2012.
