KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Stephen Green is scheduled to make a statement about how the district plans to move forward after the school board decided to not grant it reaccreditation.
The meeting will take place at 10 a.m. at East High School.
Dr. Green has said before that they will need to roll up their sleeves and start planning for the next stage.
In total, 33 schools and more than 20,000 students are feeling the effects. The lack of accreditation could cause those students to transfer out of the district.
Because of this, Dr. Green said they have plenty of academic goals to set.
