SAN RAFAEL, Calif. (WXYZ) - A guide dog being trained in California helped save the lives of his two trainers.
The trainers were walking the dog on a city sidewalk when an out-of -control car sped towards them. The car was going in reverse.
The dog noticed the car and turned to alert one of the trainers seconds before the car caught up to them.
The dog named O'Neil and the trainers were able to scramble to safety.
Police say the driver of the car was a 93-year-old woman. They aren't sure how she lost control of the vehicle.
The car broke through a store window and left skid marks down the side of some buildings.
