Kansas City police are investigating an apparent road rage incident that took place in the Trader Joe’s parking lot on Ward Parkway Saturday.

Police took calls from multiple shoppers on Saturday after a motorcyclist displayed his gun to a driver police believe cut him off.

Officer Darin Snapp told 41 Action News on Monday morning the driver was reportedly on her cell phone when she nearly ran the motorcyclist off the road.

“She had a cell phone in her hand recording the whole thing the driver did, and he was just mad because that's what started this whole thing off,” Snapp explained.

The woman posted a video to Twitter, documenting the intense exchange.

The drivers exchanged strong words, before the motorcyclist displayed his gun which was in a holster.

Snapp confirmed the motorcyclist does possess a concealed carry license.

KCPD is still investigating the incident to determine who is at fault. They will then hand the case off to the prosecutor.
