At least one person is dead after a crash in Kansas City, Missouri.
The crash happened near the 800 block of Indiana. Police say the car went off a bridge and landed upside down.
Police said the silver SUV had been driving southbound on US 71 Highway, on an elevated span just north of the 85th Street exit. The driver lost control and struck the concrete wall on the left side of the traffic lane. The car crossed over the top of the barrier and fell to the lot below. The driver died at the scene.
The driver has been identified as Michael Blackwell, 60, of KCMO.
Police said the collision most likely occurred sometime well before the car was found.
