KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Police are searching for a possible suspect following an alleged rape in downtown Kansas City.
According to police, the victim was walking near E. 9th St. and McGee St. on her way to church when the alleged attack happened.
She told police the suspect approached her and dragged her into the Pickwick Parking Garage, located at 307 E. 9th St., and forced her into an abandoned truck and raped her.
The victim then walked to the 1400 block of Campbell St., and called police. The victim was then transported to the hospital.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 30's, roughly 5-feet, 8 inches tall, wearing a baseball cap, red bandana and black puffy coat.
Police searched the surrounding neighborhood and the downtown library for the signs of the suspect, but were unable to locate him.
