KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City police said three people have found human remains in a wooded area of Kansas City, Mo.
Dispatch received a call regarding a decomposing body near 107th and Fuller around 3 p.m. Friday.
Kansas City police said a 20-year-old, an 18-year-old and a 16-year-old were snake hunting in the area. They went about 20 feet into a wooded area near the road and came across the body.
Police said the body could have been there for a couple months and that it is too early to identify if it is a man or a woman.
The crime scene investigators are processing the scene; the remains will be picked up by the medical examiner and the homicide squad has been called.
