A Kansas blood drive hopes to help a little girl with Leukemia.
BONNER SPRINGS, Kan. - The Bonner Springs, Kan., community is teaming up to help one of their own.
The Bonner Springs Fire Department and the Community Blood Center are hosting a blood drive for kindergartner Haley Bernard.
Bernard has Juvenile Myelomoncyctic Leukemia, or JMML, and has recently relapsed.
The 5-year-old is now preparing for a bone marrow transplant.
In her honor, the community is hosting a blood drive.
The blood drive is at the Bonner Springs Fire Station, located 13001 Metropolitan Ave., on Saturday, Dec. 28, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
