Breakfast after missing the bus, Kansas City police officers bring young boy to school

A Kansas City boy who missed the bus ended up riding in a police car to school on Wednesday. 

Two Kansas City, Missouri police officers saw the kid at a street corner. They said he was waiting for more than an hour for the bus. Officers later found out he missed it!

Before dropping him off at Pathway Academy Charter School, the officers took him to get breakfast at McDonalds.

The officers took the kid to school, got him a hall pass and walked him to class. 

Pathway Academy Charter School gave the officers a special shoutout on social media.The post received more than 2,000 likes. 

The Kansas City Police Department than shared the post on their Facebook wall. They received comments like "Well done officers" and "KCMO has the best police officers, hands down."
