KANSAS CITY - Kansas City, Mo., Fire spokesman Chief James Garrett said liquid concrete fell on a construction worker.
Crews were able to free the man, and he was put in an ambulance and transported to a hospital.
The Fire Captain at the scene said the construction worker was part of a crew pouring concrete at the new development at Cleaver and Troost.
Park of the brick sign under construction broke, and part of the wall hit one of the workers and broke their leg. He fell and was covered by liquid concrete.
Fire crews helped him out of the mess and treated his leg, and then he was transported to a hospital.
