COUNTRY CLUB VILLAGE, Mo. - Update: The family of a missing teen girl Hailee Wilson told KQ2 that police found her Sunday evening in Chillicothe. Wilson's father said police arrested the man who was with Hailee Wilson.
Original story: A Country Club Village family is asking for help looking for their missing teenage daughter.
Hailee Wilson, 16, went missing on Friday evening after visiting a friend in St. Joseph.
The family believes Hailee left with a 19-year-old Columbia, Mo., man she met online.
Hailee suffers from Aspergers and Tourettes and the family says she has not taken her medication.
The family says detectives investigating the case believe the two are headed back to Columbia.
They believe the two may have even altered their appearance.
Hailee's dad, David, says they just want their daughter home.
"I just want to know she's safe. I don't care if whoever has her they just take her to a police station, or take her somewhere, let her use a phone, let us know she's safe," he said. "That's our main concern is that we know our little girl is safe and how to get her back home."
Anybody with information is asked to call police.
