Crews investigate gas main break in KCK

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Crews are investigating reports of a gas leak in a line below ground at 746 Gilmore in Kansas City, Kan.

Residents in the area called about a gas odor just before 2 p.m. Tuesday.

According to KCK Fire Spokesman Craig Duke, they have to dig down to the pipe to find out if it's a service or a main line. Residents within 150 feet of the leak have been evacuated.
