KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Demolition crews will take the wrecking ball to a Kansas City church on Independence Avenue and Benton Boulevard.
The building partially-collapsed earlier this month.
Workers were on the property on Thursday to remove loose pieces of the roof and hauled out some of the bricks and debris on the ground.
More equipment was also moved onto the property.
The city said the church got the okay for demolition. The pastor and workers believe it will begin on Friday afternoon and continue on Saturday.
