KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Forget the "Show-Me" State. Missouri is being called the "Show-Off" State. We've got three winning teams along I-70, but not everyone is so supportive.
Chiefs, Cardinals and Tigers; they're some of the best teams in the country.
"There's definitely a buzz around here ... about the Missouri teams doing well, but especially the Chiefs," Russell Revel, a server at 810 Sports Zone, said.
Mizzou fans do draw a crowd for games.
"It was very exciting, even though they didn't win," Revels said.
But some like Jake Donely prefer it that way.
"I'd like to see them lose," he said.
The Chiefs have the most impressive season of the three teams, compared to last year.
They're the first major U.S. sports franchise to go from the worst in the league to 8-0.
"It's fantastic. I don't know how long it's going to last, but I never dreamed they'd be 8-0 at this point. It's just wonderful," Donely said.
The Chiefs are back on the road next week in Buffalo, where they're hoping to tie their previous record of 9-0 from 2003.
