Baby found encased in concrete in Pleasant Hill, Mo. home

PLEASANT HILL, Mo. - A baby encased in concrete has been found in the garage of Pleasant Hill, Mo., home.

According to Chief Robert Driscoll with the Pleasant Hill Police Department, officers were called around 6 p.m. Monday night to an auto theft/narcotics investigation at a residence on S. Cline Street, about 45 minutes south of Kansas City.

Upon arrival, a tub containing a block full of concrete was located in the garage, striking officers as unusual.

Driscoll says the baby was likely born in early October.
