Five 18-20 year olds charged in beating Kansas City delivery driver with bat, robbery

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Five Kansas City 18-to-20 year olds were charged in connection to a beating of a pizza delivery man.

Leeann B. Howe, 20, Mikeal Farr, 19, Miriah Farr, 19, Tanner Stone, 20, and Madison Lambson, 18, each face first degree robbery charges and armed criminal action. 

According to court records, police were called to the area of 113th Street and Eastern Avenue after an abandoned Domino's Pizza delivery car was reported. 

Police determined the vehicle belonged to a victim of a robbery in on teh 7400 block of Food Lane.  

Officials said the victim was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries from being struck with a baseball bat on the head and body. The victim told police his vehicle, $30 and pizza were stolen from him. 

At the hospital, the victim told police there were five attackers.

The suspects told police they participated in the robbery, its setup or the beating. 

Prosecutors have requested a bond of $100,000 for each defendant.
