OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - Five juveniles are in custody and could face charges in the theft of a goat from the Deanna Rose Farmstead.
Overland Park Police Spokesman Gary mason said the goat was recovered about 2 a.m. at the McDonald's at 151st Street. The young goat was unharmed and returned to the Deanna Rose Farmstead.
The juveniles could be charged with theft and criminal trespassing. It’s not clear how they got into the closed farm and grabbed the goat.
Two other goats have been taken from the Farmstead since 2011, including Kale who was found at a high school.
