KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Two Kansas City women were relieved to finally hear from family in Moore, Okla., after Monday's devastating tornado.
Pam Francis was worried about her cousins who live in Moore. Minutes seemed like hours, and it wasn't until hours after the devastation that she did get a message they were okay -- and even added a new little one to the family.
"They are in the hospital delivery expecting their fourth grandchild, which is just ecstatic news, given what's happened," Francis said.
Kimberly Mills, who lives in Lenexa, Kan., was also frantic after she couldn't reach her sister in Moore right away. But thankfully, she found out her sister and 18-month-old nephew are both doing fine.
