Foutch Brothers present new plan for Westport High without Academie Lafayette

Community members learned the revised plan for the future of Westport High Thursday night.

Foutch Brothers presented its new plan for Westport High without Academie Lafayette.

Academie Lafayette could potentially move to a new facility, and the school district wants feedback before it agrees to sell the school to Foutch Brothers.

“We’re trying to keep with the school board’s original timeline, or modified timeline, of closing immediately so we can get it under construction and moving,” Steve Foutch, CEO of Foutch Brothers, said.

The district is expected to decide on the sale at the next School Board meeting.
