An 8-year-old girl is in the hospital Sunday night after being hit by a vehicle in the 700 block of Fuller Ave.
Police were called to the area around 7 p.m. Witnesses at the scene said the girl ran into the road and was struck by a pizza delivery vehicle.
The vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
The girl was transported to an area hospital and is listed in serious, but stable condition.
An investigation into the incident continues.
