KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A third suspected heat-related death in two days is under investigation in Kansas City, Mo.
The deceased was a man born in 1943, representatives from the Kansas City Health Department said on Friday. No other information was available.
The Jackson County Medical Examiner is investigating the case. Emergency crews handled between 30 and 35 heat-related calls from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, according to the Kansas City Fire Department.
The deaths of a man and an infant boy were also suspected of being heat-related on Thursday.
