KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The local international aid organization Heart to Heart is set to send supplies to the victims of the typhoon in the Philippines.
They are sending medicine, along with other relief needs.
"This is a prepackaged box of medicines and medical supplies that our pharmacists and physicians have put together with help from other disaster response organizations to meet this very specific kind of need," said Dan Neal, Director of Global Logistics at Heart to Heart.
Each relief box can treat up to 500 people.
Once they get confirmation to make the shipment, the boxes could be there in 24 hours.
