OVERLAND PARK, Ks. - Police say they're looking for a woman after three beauty stores lost hundreds of dollars of merchandise in one day.
A bold crime in the middle of the day, Officer Gary Mason says the woman caught on surveillance video shoplifted more than $700 worth of merchandise from the Ulta store on 95th Street.
Employees discovered the theft when they found empty boxes hidden on store shelves. Mason said the shoplifter unwrapped merchandise and hid the packaging before putting the shoplifted items in her purse and walking out the door.
Two other Ulta stores in Johnson County were also hit. Police believe the same woman caught in these surveillance pictures is behind those thefts as well.
