Hillary Clinton draws both supporters and protestors to the Midland

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Hillary Clinton may be a front runner in many polls for the 2016 presidential election, but that was on topic she did not talk about during her visit to the Midland Theater in downtown Kansas City Sunday.

Rainy Day Books hosted Hillary Rodham Clinton to discuss her new book, "Hard Choices."  During her conversation, Clinton talked about her relationships with world leaders, terrorism and “the power of women,” but did not go into the upcoming race for the White House.

Supporters handed out Hillary pins and posters on the sidewalk, while protesters chanted and held signs across the street.

Keith Vickers of Lee's Summit attended the event to get a copy of Clinton's book. He was also hoping to hear something about her future plans.

"I'm anxious to find out if she's going to run for president. I hope she does," Vickers said.

Attendees received an autographed copy of Clinton's book.
