Hockey fans from across the metro got up early and filled the Blueline Hockey bar in the River Market Saturday morning to watch the USA Hockey team take on Olympic Athletes from Russia.

The hockey bar opened its door at 6:00 a.m. for the 6:10 central time start.

Fighting is not allowed in Olympic hockey, however, there were at least five fights in the first two periods.

When The Blueline owner Steve Stegall was asked about the heavy contact,  he laughed and said, "It's a rough sport."

During these fights fans across the bar chanted, U-S-A, U-S-A.

There was no "Miracle on Ice" this Saturday. In fact, it was a shutout. The USA lost 4-0 to the OAR.

Team USA returns to the ice on Tuesday in the qualification playoff round.
