Hot Dog Festival held at Negro Leagues Baseball Museum

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Some got a taste of summer on Saturday at the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum.

The museum hosted the second annual Hot Dog Festival.

The festival also debuted the Monarch Dog - a hot dog covered with pulled pork, bacon, shredded cheese, onion, jalapeno and gates barbecue sauce.

Organizers say the event "brings the community together through one of our nation's favorite pastimes."
