KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A Kansas City man who admitted to killing a driver while drunk was sentenced today.
Ronald O’Kelly was sentenced to seven years in confinement, but he will only serve 120 days because of a state statute available to him.
After he serves 120 days, O’Kelly will be put on probation for multiple years.
O’Kelly hit and killed Leroy Bronson, who was riding his motorcycle, in April 2013. O’Kelly then left the scene.
Bronson’s wife and daughter also died in a drunk driving accident.
