Construction has been underway on the new Whole Foods at 51st Street between Oak and Brookside Boulevard for several months now, and 41 Action News checked back with local shop owners to see how it's impacting business.

"Business is doing very well, and I don't have the words to thank my customers for being so loyal, " said Zach Moores, owner of Crow's Coffee.

"We are holding up and we are thankful for our customers. We've even be able to serve some of the construction workers, so it's been good," said Donne Quinn, manager of Kin Lin.

The project will include a Whole Foods and a 170-unit apartment complex above the store.
