Officials say 90-year-old Laverna M. Merrinam was found safe in Independence, Missouri.

The Kansas City Police Department's Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public's help in locating a missing woman.
Ninety-year-old Laverna M. Merriman was last seen on the 10000 block of James A. Reed Road on Sunday around 3 p.m.
Officials say Merriman does not have mental health concerns.
