Kansas City Royals players' wives and children sell lemonade for child cancer research

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - KC Royals players’ wives and children hosted a lemonade stand at the K today to benefit the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation .

Fans stopped by the Alex’s Lemonade Stand in the Outfield Experience to support childhood cancer research.

The Royals Wives also sold mystery bags featuring a baseball autographed by a Royals player.

Outfielder Alex Gordon encourages area fans to host their own home lemonade stand to benefit ALSF. Those who host a stand before July 15 can win tickets and the opportunity to meet Gordon prior to the Royals game on August 10. 

Gordon is a big supporter of the lemonade stands. He and his wife volunteered at one at a local HyVee earlier in June.
