KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Kansas City Zoo is welcoming two new friends to the ranks.
On Wednesday June 26, two male red panda cubs were born to panda parents Fagan and Gaila.
According to the zoo, mom and dad are keeping the cubs warm and fed.
The male cubs weighed in at only four ounces one day after birth, smaller than a can of soup. Adult size will be reached at 12 months.
Zoo guests can see the new cubs in their nesting box via a TV monitor at their exhibit on Tiger Trail whenever the zoo is open.
