UPDATE: Kansas City Metro Squad locates person of interest in North Kansas City homicide

UPDATE: The Kansas City Metro Squad says they have located Zachary Murphy and he remains in custody on unrelated charges. Logan C. Minton’s 2005 Buick LeSabre bearing Missouri plate DN9M0G is still missing. Anyone with information regarding Minton’s homicide or whereabouts of his missing vehicle are encouraged to call TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS or the North Kansas City Police Department directly at 816-274-6010.

The Kansas City Metro Squad is asking for help to locate a person of interest in a September 18 homicide.

They would like to speak with Zachary Murphy, 19. The North Kansas City Police Department believes Murphy may have information regarding the homicide of Logan Minton.

Police said on Sept. 18, Minton, 22, was shot and killed in the area of Armour and Knox in North Kansas City, Missouri. The investigation revealed Minton was abducted in Kansas City, Missouri, in the early morning hours of Sept. 18. 

Anyone with information on Murphy’s whereabouts is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
